There are riders who place the load in the aero position more on the middle part of the saddle and therefore need a special shape to avoid muscle fatigue and maximize performance. The ergonomically optimized V-shape design of the SR Tri Men Mid has been specially developed for the requirements of triathlon.

The SR Tri Men Mid is designed for triathletes who tilt their pelvis less in the aero position and therefore place the center of gravity in the middle of the saddle. This means you need a narrow and longer saddle nose compared to riders who prefer the front position. This effectively prevents fatigue in the back muscles and also relieves the muscle chains you need for running. This means: more power on the bike and a better start to the run!

The padding of the SR Tri Men is made of durable Orthopedic Comfort Foam and is precisely tailored to the needs of long-term triathlon training. It is firm enough to prevent energy loss due to excessively soft padding, while at the same time providing sufficient padding to effectively reduce strain.

Relief for a medium sitting position

Due to the more upright pelvic position in the mid-position, a narrow and longer nose is necessary for the best freedom of movement. This Y-shape effectively prevents back muscle fatigue and, in combination with the ergonomic padding and relief channel, ensures optimum protection of the sensitive genital area.

Optimum adjustment with the BMR line

The biomechanical reference line (BMR line) is marked on the saddle surface of all SR Tri saddles. This shows the meridian of the saddle - the point at which the saddle is exactly 75 millimeters wide. The BMR line is a reference point for the correct fitting of height, seat position and inclination and the correct saddle-nose distance. The BMR line is also an important reference point for precise adjustment in our Fittingbox Road.
