Details of the Bexley MIPS helmet

The compact shape of the Bexley MIPS creates an attractive look while still offering advanced protection and the soft, antibacterial padding ensures comfort. A retractable and replaceable visor protects your eyes from wind and glare, especially when you're going a little faster on an e-bike. The integrated rear light is designed so that you don't even notice it's there when you're not using it - but the entire back of the helmet lights up conspicuously when you turn it on, so you're more visible on the road. Roc Loc® Air ensures an excellent fit and outstanding ventilation, and the four large ventilation openings can be easily adjusted while riding. Thanks to the comfortable ear pads, the Bexley MIPS is also extremely comfortable, even in bad weather. The Bexley MIPS is equipped with the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). MIPS technology can redirect energy and provide better protection at certain impact angles.

The Roc Loc® Air Fit System has the same features as the Roc Loc® 5, plus it impressively increases airflow and ventilation inside the helmet. The unique design creates a small air cushion between the helmet shell and the head, allowing the air to flow and cool the head without compromising on fit and comfort. Size adjustment is simple and can be done with two fingers using micro-grids. The height of the system can also be adjusted to ensure that the helmet fits perfectly.

With the in-mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single step during the foaming process. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to create significantly better ventilation systems and ventilation openings. Compared to traditional helmets, in-mold helmets are therefore lighter and have significantly better ventilation systems.

The Super Fit™ engineering sizing system is the basis of Giro's product design and development process. Giro's many years of experience allow them to draw on a vast amount of measurement data of different head and face shapes during development. After a wide variety of intensive tests in Giro's laboratories, the product is subjected to further tough practical tests and put through its paces by Giro's team riders. Optimization is then carried out until maximum fit and comfort are achieved. Giro makes no compromises in terms of quality and functionality.

Wind Tunnel Ventilation is Giro's proprietary system of internal channels and active vents that channel cool, fresh air over and around your head, forcing out exhausting heat and stale air.
