Optimum contact surface

The lateral contact support guides the foot when clicking into the pedal and provides a point of contact even when the cleat is not yet engaged. This wide contact surface prevents the foot from slipping on the pedal body and provides consistent and reliable support.

Mechanism

The mechanism works regardless of external conditions such as mud, where the forces are significantly different than in dry conditions. Sufficient space allows the dissipation of various disturbing factors such as mud and sand and gives the user a constant and stable feeling of being securely clicked in. With an adjustable tensioning screw, the entry/release resistance can be fine-tuned to personal ability.
